Spaces
A space is a separate workspace with its own bots, chats, memory and computer, such as one for work and one for home.
Create a space
Choose Create (the + at the top of the sidebar), then New private space. You switch to it from the sidebar, and each space has its own bots, groups and sections.
Most people only need one. Add a space when work must stay apart: a client, a side project, or personal life.
What stays inside a space
Nothing crosses between spaces unless you allow it:
- Chats, files and memory.
- The Team Computer and every bot’s computer.
- App connections.
- Saved credentials, when the space keeps its own.
- Skills a bot saves.
Bots only talk to bots in the same space, unless you turn on Allow cross-space bot communication in a bot’s settings.
What follows you everywhere
Your account settings apply in every space: models, voice, approvals and your credentials vault. Skills, MCP servers and plugins you add are available in all your spaces too, unless you narrow them with Available in.
Customize one space
Right-click a space in the sidebar and choose Settings, or open Settings → General and choose Manage next to the space.
There you can rename the space, or give it its own Models, Voice, Approvals or Vault with Customize. Use defaults goes back to your account settings.
Delete space removes the space and its bots. This can’t be undone.
